Bail enhanced to $1 million for Lake Elsinore resident suspected of sexual assault on juvenile

Cristian Javier Ramirez, a 28-year-old resident of Lake Elsinore, was arrested on March 28 after investigators concluded an ongoing investigation regarding a past sexual assault on a juvenile that occurred at a residence in the 39000 Block of Ardenwood Way in Lake Elsinore.

Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station investigators arrested Ramirez while he leaving his home at around 10 a.m., according to Sergeant Julio Olguin. He was booked into the Southwest Detention Center on suspicion of rape, unlawful sex with a minor, and lascivious acts with a child, according to jail records.

A bail enhancement was authored and approved for $1 million. Ramirez is scheduled to appear in court on March 30 at 8 a.m.
