The Canyon Lake Association of Men (CLAMS) spends each year fundraising for select charitable organizations in and around Southwest Riverside County. Recently, the CLAMS made donations to 4 Paws 4 Patriots and to Peppermint Ridge.

On behalf of the CLAMS, member Randy Schutz presented a check to 4 Paws 4 Patriots. Located in Menifee, 4 Paws 4 Patriots pairs disabled American veterans and untrained dogs and then trains them together to become a service dog team.

The 4 Paws 4 Patriots organization is run by veteran Tim LeBlanc and his wife, Reta, who sold their Canyon Lake home to devote their lives to disabled veterans.

The donation to Peppermint Ridge was presented by CLAMS member Hugh Wagoner. Located in Corona, Peppermint Ridge was established in 1959 to assist individuals with intellectual disabilities.
