City of Temecula to host Special Games March 5

The City of Temecula and the Temecula Valley Unified School District will be hosting the 2022 Temecula Special Games on March 5 from 9 to 11 a.m. at Great Oak High School, 32555 Deer Hollow Way.

Special Games is an event designed for athletes of all ages with developmental disabilities to participate in opening ceremonies, non-competitive games and sports, an awards ceremony.

Each athlete will be paired up with a high school volunteer to act as their buddy during the event and participate alongside them. Adult volunteers will assist with the various games and activities.

All athletes will be presented with a participation medal and all volunteers will receive community service hours. Pre-registration is required for this free event. To register, click here.
